Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the Story0 API, SDKs, console and documentation (the "Service"), provided by Big Leap ("we"). By creating an account or using an API key you agree to them on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent.

Your account and keys

Keep your API keys secret and on your servers. You are responsible for activity under your keys. Revoke a key in the console as soon as you suspect it was exposed.

Your content

You keep all rights to the media you send and the results you receive. You confirm you have the rights and any consents needed to submit the media for processing. We process it only to provide the Service, delete source media after 7 days (or sooner on request) and results after 30 days, and we do not use your media to train models.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to process media you have no right to use, to identify or track private individuals, to infringe others' rights, to break the law, or to probe, overload or circumvent the Service's limits and security.

Results

Results are automated analysis. They can be wrong or incomplete, and they flag uncertainty and items for review. You are responsible for decisions you make with them, including editorial, licensing, safety and publication decisions.

Credits and payment

Credits are prepaid, priced as published on the pricing page at the time of each request, and do not expire. Purchases are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or we decide otherwise at our discretion. Failed jobs are not charged. We may change prices for future requests with notice on the pricing page.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. API versions are dated; we keep the behaviour of a version stable and announce deprecations in advance where we reasonably can.

Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Ending

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Contact hello@bigleap.app with any question.
